Since 1905, almost every U.S. president has visited The Brown Palace Hotel. That's why it's only fitting that our three
presidential Denver hotel suites - each refurbished in 2000 - should be named for three former presidents.
Today, these downtown Denver suites, located on the top two floors, are referred to as the Eisenhower Suite, Roosevelt Suite, and
Reagan Suite. Each one offers stunning décor amid spectacular surroundings. Experience the height of modern luxury in one of
these three remarkable guest accommodations, including:
-
Eisenhower Suite: President Eisenhower loved to golf, and a wayward golf ball - or perhaps an interrupted back swing - made
a dent in the fireplace mantel in the Eisenhower Suite. That piece of the mantel remains in the suite framed as a souvenir.
-
Roosevelt Suite: Teddy Roosevelt was the first president to stop at The Brown Palace in 1905. He spoke to businessmen
at an elaborate banquet held at the hotel where the guests paid $10 to attend, and more than 1,500 cigars were smoked.
-
Reagan Suite: In 1981, President Ronald Reagan came to Denver to deliver a speech to the NAACP's annual convention at Currigan
Hall. He prepared for the event in his suite at The Brown Palace.
