Special brass quintet performance from the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Open to the Public. Free Admission.
12 pm: The official Champagne Cascade ceremony begins.
With the stroke of an antique Napoleonic saber, a master swordsman will sever the necks of Moet et Chandon champagne bottles. Once opened, the champagne will be into the uppermost glass of the elaborate 6,000-glass pyramid rising nearly two stories in the hotel’s atrium lobby.
12:30-1:30 pm: Have a complimentary photo taken in front of the cascade and enjoy a slice of birthday cake in honor of Denver’s 150-year celebration.
