On January 23, The Brown Palace Hotel continues an eighty-year tradition of welcoming the National Western Stock Show’s Grand Champion Steer into its iconic Atrium—an enduring Denver ritual where Western heritage meets timeless elegance. Steer Day 2026 is a complimentary, ticketed celebration featuring the steer’s signature red-carpet arrival during Afternoon Tea. Beverage purchases will be available, and advance reservations are required due to limited capacity.

Make your Friday afternoon a little more delicious. Join us in the Brown Palace Club for an interactive mixology class where you’ll learn to craft standout cocktails (plus a spirit-free option) with guidance from a professional mixologist.
Your ticket includes two alcoholic beverages and one non-alcoholic beverage, recipe cards to take home, branded swag from the featured spirit, and a cheese board to enjoy before and after class. Seats are limited to keep it hands-on—only 25 guests per class.
